English actor Leslie Phillips, who’s best known for his role in the Carry on left us for his heavenly abode, know about his wife Zara Carr, her age and net worth
As per a report by AP, the British actor, who gave his voice for Sorting Hat in the “Harry Potter,” passed away at the age of 98.
The tragic news of the actor’s passing was confirmed by his agent, Jonathan Lloyd, on Tuesday, November 8.

According to the statement given by Jonathan, Leslie passed away “peacefully at home,” on Monday.
After learning the news of the actor’s demise many took to their social media handle to pay their tributes while many others wanted to know more about his private life.

Leslie was born in Tottenham, London, United Kingdom on 20 April 1924. The English author made his first movie appearance in the 1930s.
The BAFTA nominated actor is mostly known for his comedy roles. However, he switched his roles in 2006 after he appeared in “Venus,” which also earned him the aforementioned nominations for best supporting actor.
Leslie married Zara Care back in December 20, 2013 when he was 89-year-old. At the time, Carr was 59 years old.
Following her husband’s demise, Zara shared a statement saying, “I’ve lost a wonderful husband and the public has lost a truly great showman.”
Carr, who called her late husband “a national treasure,” went on to say that many people “loved him.”
Prior to marrying Zara, Philips was married twice before. He married first to Penelope Bartley, with whom he stayed until 1965.
Later, he went on to marry Angela Scoular, who tragically passed away in April 2011.
The Carry on Nurse actor is survived by his 4 children, with whom he shared with his first wife and his present wife Zara Carr. Leslie’s net worth stood at $20 million.
