Youtube Marvin Wildhagebas has been banned from the ongoing European Championship. As per Associated Press, two others were also banned alongside the YouTuber after they obtained unauthorised access to the tournament.
They don’t have permission to attend the remainder of the campaign. As per a statement by UEFA:
We can confirm that there was an incident with a fake mascot costume at the match in Munich … between Germany and Scotland. Three people have gained unauthorized access.
The statement further read:
Three individuals have been banned from entering stadiums hosting UEFA Euro 2024 matches.”
Wildhage reported to have entered the field on June 14 during Germany vs. Scotland at Munich’s Allianz Arena wearing a bear outfit that resembled Albert, the official Euro mascot.
Two days later, Wildhage uploaded a video to YouTube explaining how he got to the field, and it has received over million views now. It’s said that the costume he got costed €3,200, or about $3,400 and was ordered from China.

In his video, Windhage claimed to have looked through social media posts to determine the color of lanyards and QR codes that actual Euro employees were wearing, then replicated those details.
Wildhage was spotted behind a stanchion, dancing and posing for pictures with fans much as a real mascot would.
Wildhage has already drawn attention to the competitors’ security shortcomings. In a previous video, he was seen on the field during a Germany training session last month, dressed as a player, so this wasn’t the first time.

Marvin Wildhage is a YouTuber who was born on July 2, 1996 in Peine, German. He is also a German journalist, film producer and web video producer.
Marvin has around 125k followers on his Instagram as of this writing. On his YouTube, he has 883k subscribers.
