Yograj Singh Bhagsingh Bhundel is a former Indian cricketer and actor who was born on March 25, 1958, in Kanech village, Ludhiana, Punjab. He is the father of Indian cricket legend Yuvraj Singh. Yograj is a former cricketer and coach turned famous actor.

Yograj is a former Indian cricketer who played as a right-arm fast-medium bowler for India in Test and ODI formats. He later briefly worked as a coach after his early retirement due to an injury. He eventually entered Punjabi cinema with his debut Punjabi movie, ‘Batwara’ in 1983. Yograj Singh then featured in his first Hindi film titled Teen Thay Bhai in 2011. Over the years, Yograj Singh has worked in famous Bollywood movies like ‘Teen Thay Bhai, Singh is Bling’, and ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’.

Controversies
Yograj Singh has been involved in various controversy over the years. Most notably, he has always blamed former fellow cricketer Kapil Dev for cutting his career short. He revealed that he even went to Kapil Dev’s house to kill him with a pistol after he dropped him from the Indian team.
During an interview with a leading news channel, Yograj criticized MS Dhoni for dropping his son, Yuvraj Singh, from the 2015 ICC World Cup Indian squad. However, his son, quickly refuted his father’s claims. Back in August 2014, police arrested Yograj after an alleged altercation over his car parking. However, authorities later released him on bail.
Wife and children
Yograj first married Shabnam, the daughter of a Muslim businessman with whom he had two sons, Yuvraj Singh and Zoravar Singh. However, the couple got divorced, and Shabnam later got married to Neena Bundhel an actress who changed her named to Satbir Kaur after the marriage, with whom he has a son named Victor Singh and a daughter named Amarjeet Kaur.
Neena has worked in many Punjabi films, including Jora Jatt, Jatt Jeona Mour, Jagga Daku, and Anakh Jattan Dee.
