Disha Noyonika is an Indian film director, writer, and editor. She has been in the news because she faces backlash for allegedly making a derogatory remark about the revered character Sita Maa.
Her real name is Disha Randani, and Noyonika is her nickname. She is a native of Mumbai, Maharashtra. After completing her elementary education, she studied science at St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Later, she joined Jai Hind College in Mumbai, where she studies English literature.
Her career
According to her Facebook page, Disha Noyonika worked as a filmmaker at The Wedding Filmer. Later, she joined Red Chillies Entertainment as an assistant director. However, she left the organization in May 2012 to pursue her career as a freelance writer, director, and editor.
