Satyawart Kadian started wrestling with his father and used to train in a nearby akhada (arena). Satyawart rose to prominence during the 2010 Youth Olympic Games, where he earned his first major medal, a bronze medal in the boys’ freestyle 100 kg event in Singapore.
In 2013, he won the bronze medal in the World Youth Wrestling Championships in Sofia, where he was the only Indian wrestler to win a medal. Satyawart made his senior wrestling debut at the 2014 Asian Wrestling Championships, eventually winning another bronze medal.
He went on to win silver in the 97 kg weight class in the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Satyawart competed in the 97kg weight class and earned a bronze medal in the 2014 Asian Games. He is still dreaming to deliver India a medal in the Olympics. Satyawart received the Arjuna Award in 2017 for his remarkable performance and accomplishments.
