Sobhana Asha, a leg spinner, took five wickets to emerge as the most effective bowler for RCB. With her breakout and guile, she was outstanding, keeping the hitters guessing.

Left-handed hitter Deepti Sharma of the Warriorz failed to duplicate the performance of Mumbai Indians’ Sajana Sajeevan the day before, needing five runs off the final ball of the match against left-arm spinner Sophie Molineux.

Warriorz struggled as RCB bowlers used clinical bowling to seize the opposition with 158 needed to win. Asha, a 32-year-old leg-break bowler, deserves all the praise for terrorising the Warriorz batting lineup by taking three wickets in the 17th over. She also made league history by becoming the first Indian cricket player to take a fifer.
