Premier League club Liverpool are reportedly close to signing Wolves youngster Alvin Ayman ahead of the new season. The club will complete their first signing for this summer transfer window if they do so. The youngster has received heavy interest from several of the top 6 Premier League clubs.

Alvin Ayman is a 16-year-old up and coming footballer for Wolverhampton Wanderers who is currently making waves and catching attention. The youngster is currently set on a move to join Liverpool. Ayman recently gained prominence after he featured on the Wolves first team squad that travelled for their away game against Manchester City last month.

Alvin Ayman youth career
Alvin started out as a youth academy player at Bradford City since the under-9s. He started out playing as a left-sided central defender as well as in the midfield. The teenager joined Wolves in 2023, and he has since been in a meteoric rise. Ayman first joined the Wolves’ under-17s in South Korea for the K League’s inaugural International Youth Cup.
He scored his first goal for Wolves during their under-17 Premier League Cup semi-final against Leicester City in late January. Ayman scored the goal playing as a midfielder after coming on as a second-half substitute.
The defender later made his under-21s debut in March during a Premier League 2 match against Derby County. Just a few days later, Alvin Ayman also featured for the final minutes of a 2-0 away win at Everton. He then played an under-18s game against Newcastle United the following month where he showcased his impressive distribution skills by switching the play to his teammate on the opposite flank.
He made seven appearances in the U18 Premier League North last season, including in a 4-2 win against Liverpool in April. Aside from that, he has also made two under-21s cameos.
