A teenage football player who tragically passed away this week was honoured by his club.
Wealdstone FC is mourning the death of a 14-year-old academy star following his untimely passing.

14 year old young footballer Teddy Disson-Meade dies, club pays tribute
Wealdstone FC called 14-year-old Teddy Disson-Meade “fantastically gifted.” No cause of death has been given by now.
The adolescent has now been honoured by the London club.
The club said:
It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we announce that Wealdstone Youth U14 Reds player Teddy Disson-Meade sadly passed away earlier this week.”
The club further continued that Teddy was a player with exceptional talent, but more significantly, he was a cherished and valued member of their U14 squad. All of his club mates will miss him dearly.
Our thoughts go out to his parents Sinead and Ricky at this time and of course to all his friends and family.”
Wealdstone FC said that in Teddy’s honour, their first team players will wear t-shirts for Saturday’s away game against Southend United. There will also be a moment of silence prior to kickoff.

A women’s statement read:
This is heartbreaking, such a lovely young lad. sending healing thoughts and love to Teddy’s family, friends, team mates.”
Another one wrote that since the user’s son participated in an incident this week against the academy, the user can only imagine how the parents, family, and club must be feeling. “So young.”

Social media users have shown their support for Teddy Disson-Meade, a talented 14-year-old Wealdstone academy footballer who unfortunately passed away unexpectedly earlier this week.
The Southend official Twitter account also responded to the tweet, confirming that there will be a moment of silence before the game on Saturday.
A senior Wealdstone player had been taken to the hospital soon before the end of regulation during the team’s 3-0 victory over Solihull Moors a few days earlier. He was later given the all-clear and freed.
