After taking over the platform, Elon Musk has fired a number of top authorities, including the legal affairs head Vijaya Gadde.
For those who are unfamiliar with Vijaya Gadde, here’s all the details about her.
Who is Vijaya Gadde?
Vijaya Gadde, who was born in Hyderabad in 1974, grew up in Texas. She is an American attorney as well as the head of the Legal, Public Policy and Trust and Safety at Twitter. Gadde is married to Ramsey Homsany, a lawyer and tech executive.
Born in Hyderabad, Gadde moved to Texas with her parents when she was aged 3. Gadde earned nearly $17 million in 2021 as Twitter’s chief legal officer, and earned roughly $7.3 million in 2020 with her net worth standing at $35 million.
As per her LinkedIn profile, Vijaya has completed her graduation in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University in 1997.
Following that, she went on to pursue a degree in law from New York University School of law, which she completed in 2000.
After completing the degree in law, she went on to work with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati for approximately 10 months as an Associate.
Later, in October 2010, she joined hands with Juniper networks as an Senior Director and Associates Journal Counsel, Corporate, where she worked for 10 months.
A year later she went on and joined Twitter. Gadde had worked for the social media platform for approximately 11 and a half years.
As per her LinkedIn profile, she is also serving as the founding partner of a San Francisco based company named Angels, which is an investment collective company.

As per reports, Musk walked into Twitter’s office on October 26 when he once again revived the “let that sink in,” meme as he entered the headquarters while holding a sink.
Later, he took to his Twitter account and changed his bio to “Chief Twit,” which left many wondering about the closing deal of Twitter.
On Thursday evening, Musk took to Twitter and penned, “the bird is freed” referring to the logo of the social media platform.
