Police arrest Vem Miller

Police on Sunday, October 13, arrested Ven Miller at around 5 p.m., after he allegedly passed through an initial security checkpoint by producing a set of false VIP and media credentials. Chad Bianco, who is the Riverside County Sheriff, stated in a press conference on Sunday that several deputies stopped Millerโ€™s black SUV, after they noticed that the vehicle was in โ€œdisarrayโ€ and possessed an โ€œobviously fakeโ€ license plate.

Upon further investigation, authorities found out that Miller had multiple driverโ€™s licenses and passports with different names. Alongside the fake documents, the deputies also found a loaded handgun, a shotgun, as well as a high-capacity ammunition magazine in the SUV. Moreover, all of these were unregistered arms.

Bianco further stated that Vem Miller was associated with the โ€œsovereign citizenโ€ movement. The โ€œsovereign citizenโ€ movement is a right-wing group which rejects all kinds of government authority. Meanwhile, various sources close to the Trump campaign stated that there was no such assassination attempt at the rally.
