The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 results have been made public by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. Ved Lahoti topped the exam.

On June 9, the JEE Advanced results for 2024 were revealed. This year, Ved Lahoti of the IIT Delhi zone scored 355 out of 360. Lahoti described his path and discussed his struggles in an interview with Allen, the coaching institute where he received his education.
“Your hard work should be of the same level. Have faith in your hard work. If you have worked hard according to your target, then you will definitely get success.” said Lahoti to Allen. He took his coaching from the ALLEN Career Institute in Kota.
Age 17 Lahoti is the son of Jaya Lahoti, a homemaker, and Yogesh Lahoti, who is an electrical engineer and a construction manager at Reliance Jio and the two people who truly inspired Ved are his grandfather, R.C. Somani, and mother, Jaya Lahoti. Ved also has an elder brother.
Ved Lahoti would take his grandfather R.C. Somani to school to request a re-evaluation of his tests if he felt his marks were lower than expected, Ved’s mother, Jaya Lahoti, revealed.
Ved was always inclined towards academics. His favourite subject is mathematics, and he spent a lot of time solving problems in physics. His study schedule was flexible, and he made sure to get eight hours of sleep each day.

There was a prediction that Lahoti would take the top spot in the JEE Advanced 2024 exam. Last month, a Reddit user predicted that Indore native Ved Lahoti would top the JEE Advanced 2024 exam with a flawless score of 360 out of 360. Although it appears that the prediction was accurate, Lahoti received a score of 355 out of 360 rather than the 100% that was anticipated for him.

The candidate’s scores, the Category Rank List, and the Common Rank List (CRL) are among the outcomes. On May 26, 2024, two sessions of the IIT admission exam were held at various locations around the country. On June 2, the answer key was released.
Enrolment in the JEE Advanced was restricted to the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main 2024 candidates. The minimum cut-off for general category students in JEE Main 2024 is 93.2 percentile, up from 90.7 in 2023 and 88.4 in 2022. This year, the cut-off scores for JEE Advanced increased.
The total of the grades earned in chemistry, physics, and mathematics is used to determine the aggregate marks. For a candidate to be listed in a rank order, they must meet both the aggregate and subject-specific qualifying marks.
