An FIR has been filed against Kannada actor Varun Aradya in Bengaluru after he was allegedly accused of using private images of influencer Varsha Kaveri for blackmailing her.
Varsha Kaveri claimed in her lawsuit that she saw Varun Aradya cheating on her and that he then started blackmailing her. According to reports, Varsha and Varun met on social media and started dating in 2019. But when Varsha questioned Varun about it in 2023 after seeing images of him in inappropriate poses with another woman, he threatened to post her personal images and videos on the internet.

25-year-old Varsha Kaveri was born on 17 October 1998 in Kannur, Kerala. She is 5ft 6in tall. Varsha did her graduation in Statistics from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore. Her most popular posts on Moj and Instagram are dance and lip-sync videos. She launched the Varsha Varun YouTube channel with her boyfriend in July 2018 but later on the two parted ways.
Varsha stood out from the crowd and established herself as a successful model because of her hardwork.
Varsha Kaveriโs complaint against Varun Aradya
Varsha Kaveri said in her complaint that Varun Aradya had secretly filmed her recordings without getting her permission. When Varsha questioned Varun after he texted her an explicit photo of herself on her personal phone on September 10, 2023, he insulted her beauty and threatened to kill her.
According to Varsha, Varun threatened to murder her if she ever considered getting married to someone else. After months of uncertainty, Varsha finally decided to approach the police and make an official complaint against Varun.
On September 7, 2024, she went to the Basaveshwarnagar Police Station and filed the complaint. The police filed a formal complaint (FIR) based on her complaint, and an investigation is currently under progress.
Varun has not yet made a formal response to the grievance. The case is being heard in the middle of the fierce MeToo movement in the southern film business, specifically in the Malayalam industry, where a number of women have come out with allegations of sexual harassment, abuse, and blackmail by actors and filmmakers.
