Vansh Gaint of GNLU was 21 years old, and his friends hoped he would live through the late Monday night rush to the hospital
Students at Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), Gandhinagar are holding protests on campus in the wake of the recent suicide of third-year student, Vansh Gaint and the students claim that the lack of medical infrastructure, administrative negligence and suppression of student rights have played a role in the death of their fellow student.
Who is Vansh Gaint as GNLU student commits suicide, cause of death, biography, age, education, batch and hometown birth place
They stated that on the night of March 17, when Vansh passed away, medical personnel and equipment such as oxygen cylinder, defibrillator, or first aid kit did not arrive on time and nor did they have adequate knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Vansh’s roommate and fellow Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) graduate, Pritish Panda, told media that, “Some movement (in his body) was noticed as well.”

A third-year undergraduate student at Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) died by suicide on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday and the body of the 21-year-old Vansh Pankajkumar Gaint from Punjab was spotted in his hostel room by the warden on Tuesday.
Between 11:35 and 11:45 p.m., Vansh Gaint, a Patiala native and third-year student in the five-year integrated law program, was discovered in critical condition in his dorm room. An hour or so after being brought to Apollo Hospital, he was declared dead despite attempts to rescue him. Pritish Panda, his roommate and fellow student, described what transpired before Vansh was found.
Pritish told a news outlet that at 11:22 p.m., Vansh called a buddy to inquire about their whereabouts. He said they would meet later, but he turned down their invitation to join them.
Vansh’s door was shut from the inside when Pritish got back to his own room. Following several calls and knocks that went unanswered, Pritish looked inside via a ventilation opening and discovered Vansh’s possessions on the study table. With the help of faculty warden Nikhil Saini, Pritish and others opened the door, carefully removing the hinges to prevent injuries, because they were certain Vansh was inside.
The episode shocked friends and university officials, who cited Vansh’s stellar academic record and consistent attendance.

Vansh skipped breakfast and lunch on Monday, according to Pritish, since he wasn’t happy with the hostel’s rajma-chawal. His peers did not report any outward signs of distress, even though he avoided the meal.
Vansh had just started going to the university counsellor for treatment sessions. Vansh expressed interest in improving his self-awareness and had finished two sessions, according to Pritish, who also arranged a third. Students frequently sought therapy, and Pritish emphasized that Vansh did not exhibit any overt signs of psychological anguish. The reason behind his decision isn’t known yet after the third year integrated LLB course law student hung himself. He had gone to the Bhupindra International Public School and had secured 73% marks upto semester four in his BA LLB Honours course.
