Sharma stated in a report, “I will not sit quietly until Sheezan Khan is punished. Tunisha Sharma’s phone got checked once and it was found that he was cheating on her. On questioning Sheezan Khan, he slapped her. My daughter had no disease. I will not spare Sheezan. My daughter has gone, and now I’m alone now.”
On 31st of December, the Vasai court in Maharashtra sent accused Sheezan Khan, the reported former boyfriend and co-star of Sharma to a 14-day judicial custody

Tunisha Sharma was the only child of Vanita Sharma. Vanita Sharma was a single parent and took care of her daughter Tunisha Sharma single-handedly. Sharma lost her spouse in 2018 and since then, both mother-daughter have supported each other in their life. While her DOB isn’t known, Vanita is aged between 40-50 years.
Vanita Sharma accused Sheezan Khan of using her daughter for three to four months and then refusing to marry her. She disclosed that Tunisha was pressured to convert to Islam religion. Vanita also claimed that she had begun to get distant from her and also started to learn Urdu. Vanita alleged that Sheezan Kahn used to consume drugs and has also blamed Khan’s family for blackmailing Tunisha as well as Sheezan Khan for cheating on her daughter.
Speaking to India Today, Tunisha’s mother Vanita Sharma stated, “I told her to speak and tell us if you are in another relationship. Speak to my daughter but he just told me ‘Sorry Aunty, I can’t help you’. He involved Tunisha so much in his life and his family that my daughter began getting distant from me. I used to ask Tunisha about their relationship but she didn’t speak much. He shouldn’t have cheated on her and if he was in another relationship, then he should have informed her before.”
Presently, the police are investigating the case of Tunisha’s suicide, Sheezan Khan for now is in the custody of police. The custody was extended to investigate Sheezan Khan and police are also examining the WhatsApp chats.
