Korbin Albert bio
Korbin Rose Albert is an American professional soccer player who was born on October 13, 2003, in Grayslake, Illinois, USA. She currently plays as a midfielder for Première Ligue club Paris Saint-Germain and the United States national women’s team. Albert gained prominence while playing for Eclipse Select Soccer Club and also played for the USYNT. Before her senior career, Albert represented the US’s youth national set-up at various age groupings. She was also named the player of the season for Eclipse’s league twice, once in the 2018–19 season and once in the 2020–21 season.
Albert’s mom, Janet, who raised six children was an athlete during her college days and was an all-American in track and field in Iowa. Albert, the youngest of six children, hails from an athletic family and two of her four brothers played soccer in college. Korbin is single and unmarried.
On January 31, 2023, she signed for Paris Saint-Germain on an initial two-and-a-half-year contract but her salary at the club isn’t known.

Career and achievements
Korbin Albert started out playing college football at the University of Notre Dame a year early in 2021. During her two seasons there, Albert received a number of individual honors. During the 2021 season, Albert featured as part of the nationwide freshmen Best XI and also got named as third-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).
During her second and final season in 2022, Albert featured as a part of the first-team All-American and All-ACC selection. Albert also won the ACC’s Midfielder of the Year award and was a finalist for the Hermann Trophy. The following year, on January 31, 2023, Albert officially gave up her final two years of eligibility with Notre Dame.
She made the decision to instead sign for Paris Saint-Germain on an initial two-and-a-half-year contract. After joining the club, Albert scored her first goal on December 20, 2023, during a UEFA Champions League game against AS Roma. Aside from her college and club career, Albert has played for the American youth international team at different levels.
Back in June 2022, Albert represented the United States at the Sud Ladies Cup where the team emerged as champions. The following month in July 25, Albert featured in the US’ squad for the U-20 World Cup in Costa Rica. Albert made her senior national team debut against China during a friendly on December 5, 2023.
She then earned her first start and second cap earlier this year on February 20, 2024, during a match against the Dominican Republic. She is now a part of the 18-player roster for the 2024 Summer Olympics in France where she recently scored her first international goal, sealing the win against Australia in the third Olympic group stage game.
