Although few of them write on their account as a fan made page, some users fooled others into thinking certain celebrities have joined the wildly popular app. And due to the same scenario many celebrities’ deep-fakes go viral.ย
If we talk about a few previous deep-fakes, these included some reactions of Tom Cruise and Robert Pattinson. These fakes were so accurate that many people believed that the actors had really made their own accounts on the wild app.
The same happened with the celebrity Margot. The recent deep-fake has come from a TikTok account named “Unreal Margot”. Many people believed it to be Popular actress Margot Robbie.ย
When Did this account came in existence?
The First post was uploaded through this account in May 2022 and it quickly confused so many people about whether the actress herself joined the TikTok or is it a good look-alike.ย
After that several videos were posted through the same account. Most of the videos were comparing the person in the video to Robbie’s most iconic roles and they looked so similar that anyone can be confused after watching them.
People started wondering if this is the actual Margot Robbie?
How Did Other TikTok Users React?
A confused user commented on one of her videos as, “Ok but how do you look more like Margot Robbie than Margot Robbie looks like Margot Robbie?โ
However, few people were able to figure out that the videos were digitally edited in some way. One of the users commented on her videos as, “You can see the clear deep-fake on the first clip when she leans forward, terrific work though.โ
The account of Unreal Margot has managed to receive millions of likes, comments and views with her deep-fakes videos and the number is still going up as we’re writing.
