Sketch is a popular Twitch streamer who streams himself playing “Madden NFL” on Twitch. The young streamer often plays alongside another fellow streamer Jynxzi, who is famous for his podcast where he interviews other streamers. Sketch is popular for his phrases like “What’s up brother?”, “Tuesday, Tuesday” and “Special teams, special plays, special players” which have all remixed into newer trends and gone popular across TikTok. Skewtch who goes by the handle @thesketchreal on twitch has over 620K followers on the platform.
“What’s up brother?” trend
The “What’s up brother?” trend involves people go up to their significant other and saying, “What’s up brother?” while pointing at the sky with their index finger just like Sketch does. TikTok and other social media platforms have been flooded with the videos of the trend over the past few weeks.
Netizens join in on the trend
A TikTok user named @Turbo_twosum recently posted a video showing the trend in action. The video has since garnered over 8.4 million views as of April 3.
