The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) imposed a ban on Elif ย Karaarslan, 24, after it was said that she was seen having s*x with Erdermir, 61, in a video clip
Elif Karaarslan, a Turkish female referee, was reportedly caught on camera having s*x with referee observer Orhan Erdemir, who is 37 years her senior. As a result, she was given a lifetime suspension from football.
Erdermir was also given the same punishment by the TFF, which was a former FIFA official. With 404,000 Instagram followers, Karaarslan has denied being the person in the leaked s*x footage and plans to file an appeal.

“I will have a long road ahead legally but will overcome in the strongest and most robust way, she wrote. I look forward to your full support and love in this process. Crying, screaming and being sad are not things I would do. That is not me,” she wrote.
According to a statement released by her attorney, “A fake video was published on social media, created entirely through AI from someone else’s social media account.”
Considering that this video was made with malevolent and intentional intent, anyone who is accused of anything similar in the future could be in danger, as per her attorney.
Elif Karaarslan grew up wanting to play football herself. Before being targeted by professional teams, she began playing for the local team Libade Sports Club.

According to a different source, she became a referee because she was motivated by a foreign female official.
