Trinetra Haldar Gummaraju is an Indian actress and medical doctor who was born on June 17, 1997, in Bengaluru, Karnataka. She was born in a Telugu/Bengali-speaking family and was initially assigned male at birth. As such, Trinetra lived as a boy for the first 20 years of her life before her transition. The 26 year old has a height of 5 feet 7 inches. She is currently single and unmarried.
Trinetra is also a talented artist and during her childhood, found solace in her art. She has often showcased her paintings on her Instagram profile. She was also a bright kid growing up and consistently ranked at the top of her class. She fondly described herself as an “unpopular nerdy misfit,” during her early years.
Trinetra Haldar is also a popular content creator and renowned transgender activist, famous for her works in Television and Hindi cinema. Trinetra is currently 26 years old and she is one of India’s first transgender content creators. Notably, she documented her whole gender transition process on Instagram and YouTube.

Trinetra came out in 2018 as a transgender woman and decided to change her first name to Trinetra. Following which she underwent a Gender Confirmation Surgery abroad, in February, 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand. Despite the hardships, her family fully supported her throughout the whole process.

Trinetra Haldar was born to her father, Suresh Gummaraju who works as an engineer, and to her mother, Haima Haldar, who works as an architect. She also has a younger brother named Agastya Gummaraju, who currently works as a computer science engineer.
Education
Trinetra Haldar Gummaraju graduated from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Karnataka, with an MBBS degree in 2021. She received a government seat back in 2015 after appearing for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET). Trinetra later completed her internship in 2023 at the same college.

Trinetra Haldar Gummaraju currently works as a primary care physician, and she is reportedly Karnataka’s first transgender doctor. Aside from her work as a doctor, she is also a transgender activist and content creator who focuses on creating content related to mainstream representation of LGBTQIA+ people. Notably, Haldar Gummaraju moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in content creation and acting in April, 2023.
After impressing greatly in her audition, she began her acting career with the Amazon Prime Original, Made in Heaven Season 2. Trinetra plays the role of a character named Meher Chaudhry, who is a wedding planner. Notably, Trinetra is the first trans woman to play a main character in an Indian web series.
