Tomas Aresta Branco Machado Ribeiro, simply known as Tomas Ribeiro is a football player from Lisbon, Portugal who was born on 30 April 1999. The 24-year-old is currently a player for Vitoria S.C and plays as a centre defender. He stands 1.85 m (6 ft 1 in) tall.

Tomas Ribeiro got into football since a very young age. At fifteen, he enrolled in the C.F. Os Belenenses youth programme. On September 15, 2019, he made his Primeira Liga debut with the rebranded B-SAD, playing the entire 3-1 away triumph over C.S. Maritimo.
2020 proved to be not very good for the player and he injured himself, damaging his right knee during the training which forced the player to be sidelined for several months. After his recovery, he continued to be a starter for Petit and scored his first league goal on February 20, 2021, to open the score in a 2-1 home victory over C.D. Nacional.
He was sent off from the Estadio Nacional on December 27 following two back to back yellow cards he received during Sporting CP’s 1-2 loss. The second yellow card was awarded to him for a handball.
On January 26, 2022, Ribeiro and Grasshopper Club Zurich, a team in the Swiss Super League, signed a four-and-a-half year contract. The Portuguese there rejoined his Belenenses teammates Andre Moreira and Andre Santos. The player got his starting four days after he sealed the deal.
On July 20, 2023, Ribeiro made his way back to Portugal to take a four-year contract at Vitoria de Guimaraes.
