It’s the same school Grace O’Malley-Kumar attended. Let us remind you, that Grace was a victim of the Nottingham stabbings earlier this year.

In a letter to parents, the Headteacher, Simon Marshall, acknowledged the impact of Daniel’s death on the school community, particularly on his peers.

He wrote, “This incident is a profound shock to the entire school, especially given that it comes less than a year after the tragic loss of Grace O’Malley Kumar.

Meanwhile, Holy Family Catholic School, where Daniel’s mother, Mrs. Anjorin, works, released a statement confirming the connection. “With deep sorrow, we share the news of the death of a child belonging to one of our staff members,” the statement read.

What Exactly Happened?

Just before 07:00 BST on Tuesday, police received reports of a car crashing into a house near the Hainault Underground station.

Authorities said that a 36-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. He’s currently hospitalized due to injuries sustained when his van collided with a building. He will be investigated once he’s out of the hospital but his identity and name isn’t known for now.

Witnesses described chaos in the area around that time. One witness told the news agency that they heard a confrontation between police and the suspect in an alleyway.

The witness said, “During the commotion, someone was stabbed. I think it might have been a woman because I heard a female scream followed by sobbing.”

Eyewitness James Fernando described a grey transit van arriving, and a man emerging with a samurai sword. He said the man approached a woman who ran away.
