Web sleuths are hard at work performing their own research to discover the killer while police are busy with their own investigation. The killer stabbed Ethan Chapin, 20, Xana Kernodle, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, and Kaylee Goncalves, 21, in the early hours of November 13,

The Moscow Slayer, an Instagram user who goes by the handle “The Moscow Slayer,” is now being implicated in several social media posts that might be the work of the person responsible for the atrocity.
Even after the authorities have pursued more than 600 tips and performed almost 100 interviews, there is still no sign of the suspect or the murder weapon. An Instagram account that followed each of the murder victims in Idaho has recently come to light. Despite the account being deactivated, a number of screenshots have made their way online.
According to the bio, the user is a retired Tier One Special Mission Unit JSOC Operator (SEAL Team Six) and owner of a car dealership. Before the account was deleted, some people who found it saw that the owner was following the victims and had images of a knife, which suggests that all of the victims were stabbed and died from deep wounds. The police have identified the attacks as targeted.
The “Moscow Slayer” Posted Some Cryptic Messages Online.
“There was a Moscow Slayer Instagram account that was tied to the Kil the lcones movie and made fun of the victims before and after,” according to one suspicious user. Another user wrote, “Who follows the victims on their Instagram accounts and posts this type of bizarre garbage as the Moscow slayer?”
Another person tweeted, “The ‘Moscow slayer’ ass that posted on the deceased girl’s IG had a photo of him with a military knife, wore gloves in the shot and say ‘I have to presume if you had a knife like that, you definitely bought the gloves (BOGO),” in reference to the individual who shared the image.
Another suspicious user asked, “Is the “Moscow Slayer” Instagram account or something similar been talked about before?” “I saw a post from Moscow Slayer on Instagram a few days ago saying he had misplaced a ka-bar knife but deleted it, so it isn’t lying here.” According to one tweeter user who saw a post on the likely suspect’s Instagram account, it is not lying here.
Another user said, “The reprobate who goes by the Instagram handle “the Moscow slayer” is another unstable person.” Some people believe this person is involved, while others believe they are trolls. “From my perspective, it is very difficult to say, but it is clear that this person should be investigated.”
