The suspect in the Saturday night shooting at a dance studio which killed 10 and left injured 10 others is identified to be a 72-year-old Huu Can Tran, know about his wife
As per the authorities, the suspect was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound following the police standoff in Monterey Park.
The reports suggested that Tran was a regular attendee at the dance studio and he even met his ex-wife here. However, how frequently he visited the studio in recent times isn’t clear.

In a recent Press conference, the Los Angeles County Sheriff, Robert Luna, stated that “He intended to kill more people.”
While talking about the patrons, the Sheriff added that “They saved lives.” He further stated that “This could’ve been much worse.”
As per the statement given by authorities, Tran was carrying a firearm which was described as a semi-automatic pistol with an extended magazine.
The investigators further revealed that a second handgun was also recovered from the suspect.
Who is Huu Can Tran’s ex-wife?
For those who are curious about the ex-wife of the suspect, let us tell you, the ex-wife of the killer, who wishes to remain anonymous, revealed in an interview that she met him 2 decades ago at the Star Ballroom Dance Studio.
The ex-wife further revealed that Tran used to give informal lessons at the dance studio. She claimed that when he saw her dancing, he offered to give her free lessons.
As per a report by CNN, the duo soon afterwards got married. He reportedly was never violent towards her wife. But she stated that he would become angry pretty quickly.
She further claimed that after living together for many years, she thought he had lost interest in her so he filed for a divorce in late 2005. As per reports, the judge approved their divorce in 2006.
A copy of their marriage license shows that Tran was an immigrant from China. His ex-wife revealed that at times he would even work as a truck driver.
Let us remind you, the shooting happened at around 10:22 P.M. at the dance studio, near a Lunar New Year celebration in Monterey Park, California.
The investigators soon afterwards found Tran dead searched the van, in which they discovered “several pieces of evidence” that linked him to the shooting.
As per the cops, they also found a handgun inside the van. Now authorities are working to determine the motive behind the attack.
For those who are unsure, let us tell you, there are a total of 5 women and 5 men among the killed victims but none of them has been identified as of now.
