Tate Drageset is a 17-year-old transgender “girl,” reportedly started “transitioning” when she was 12 years old. Much less is known about Drageset’s gender identity and her birth as a boy, even with all of her well-deserved recognition.
Drageset was chosen as this year’s Girls Junior National Championships MVP in addition to having participated on several state-winning girls’ volleyball teams. Furthermore, Drageset received the California Interscholastic Federation’s Division 5 Player of the 2022–2023 Year award.
