Over a decade, Larry Ray had isolated many of his daughter’s roommates and then derailed their lives through psychological manipulation and forced them into sexual coercion, financial extortion, and routine emotional and physical abuse.
Larry Ray who is presently 63 years old was convicted on federal charges including sex trafficking, extortion, and racketeering in April of 2022. He was sentenced to 60 years of prison last month.

In 2004, Ray’s ex-wife, Teresa Ray filed for divorce and she had called the police, alleging that he hit her when cops arrived then things took an unexpected turn.
Larry claimed, ‘Teresa and few of her relatives were abusing their daughters Talia and Ava, who were just four years old at that time.’
The police were not able to find anything against Talia’s mother or her family. So in the end no such relation was found that her mother has abused her. A forensic examiner determined that Larry Ray coached his daughters on what to tell authorities who have accused their mother of misconduct.
After numerous years of legal battles, Ray was charged with interfering with child custody and contempt of court leading to a six-month jail sentence. Talia decided not to stay with her mother and moved to a youth shelter.
Larry Ray moved to Talia’s dorm room
After he was sentenced to 60 years of prison, Ray asked Talia if he could live with her in the college dorm as Talia was in sophomore that year at the New York liberal arts college Sarah Lawrence.
Larry Ray shifted with her daughter and slept on a blow-up mattress in her daughter’s room and also Sometimes slept in the common room.
Where is Talia Ray now?
Talia has kept her profile very low in the last few years. Apart from testifying in Larry Ray’s trial that he coerced one cult survivor Claudia Drury into prostitution for many years to pay millions for fictional property damage. But Talia Ray does not appear to speak publicly about the situation.
As of February 2020, then-30-year-old Talia Ray hadn’t talked to her sister Ava in almost 15 years.
