A recent video of MAGA influencer Valentina Gomez disrupting a Muslim rally at the Texas State Capitol has gone viral. The video shows her seizing the microphone and launching into a heated speech, accusing Islam of various crimes. Her speech prompted a strong response from the crowd, who eventually began chanting “Allahu Akbar”. She later went on to share the entire footage on social media, with the caption:

Islam has no place in Texas. Help me to Congress so we can end the Islamization of America. I only fear God.”

Valentina Gomez Noriega bio and age

Valentina is a Colombian-born American real estate investor, social media influencer and political activist who was born on May 8, 1999, in Medellín, Colombia but her height isn’t known. She immigrated to the United States with her family in 2009 and grew up in Jersey City, New Jersey. She is currently 25 years old, and she is known for her ultra-conservative and inflammatory rhetoric views. Over the years, Gomez has drawn both supporters and critics for her polarizing political views.

Gomez is also very vocal about her Christian faith and often frames her activism as part of a spiritual and moral battle. She also has a good online presence that has played a significant role in shaping her political identity. She is currently single and unmarried and has two brothers, Jonathan and Maicoll. Her mother Clara was a member of Colombia’s national women’s swimming team.

The entire family consists of swimmers with her brother Maicoll being an ex-William & Mary swimmer Maicoll and Jonathan Gomez represented the family’s native Colombia in the 200-meter butterfly.

Education

Valentina Gomez had a very impressive formal education, enjoying an accelerated academic path. She graduated college at the young age of 19 and went on to earn her MBA in finance and strategic management from Tulane University at just 21. She attended university on full athletic scholarships and also competed as an NCAA Division I swimmer.

She was a Division I College Swimmer for the Tulane’s Women’s Swimming and Diving Team and was also elected as the first female Vice-President of the Hispanic Business Council, Team Member for the Colombian National Team.

She went to the Central Connecticut State University School of Business for her graduation where she did her Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Financial Management Services. She attended Hudson Catholic for her high school.

Professional career

She worked as a finance employee working for Nestlé until June 3. 2024 and had stated her that her employer Nestlé Purina tried to keep her quiet about attacking LGBTQ books in libraries. In February, Gomez took a flamethrower to two LGBTQ library books in a campaign video and went on to state she ‘fired’ her employer.

Valentina Gomez works professionally as a real estate investor besides being a rising political figure among far-right circles in the U.S. Back in 2024, she ran for Missouri Secretary of State. However, she gained more attention due to her polarizing tactics rather than her policy discussions. Over the years, she has gone on to post all kinds of videos of herself, like burning LGBTQ+ books and making derogatory remarks while making campaigns in LGBTQ+ neighborhoods. She mostly frames her platform around traditionalist and Christian nationalist values.

In 2024, she ran for Missouri Secretary of State, where she made headlines for her controversial stances and her campaign included inflammatory videos, such as one where she declared, “Don’t be weak and gay,” while running through an LGBTQ+ neighborhood in St. Louis, and another where she burned LGBTQ+ books, calling them “grooming, indoctrinating, and s*xualizing.” She finished sixth out of eight candidates in the Republican primary, securing 7.4% of the vote.
