Talking about Jason, after being rescued from the beach along the Hana Highway in Paia, Maui, on Saturday, Jason Carter, a resident of Haiku, passed away. The Guardian reports that officials have scheduled an autopsy but said that there is no evidence of foul play based on the early inquiry.
As per New York Post, the officials stated that after first responders carried out lifesaving procedures on the beach and Carter was transported to Maui Memorial Medical Centre by jet ski, Ocean Safety Officers took him to shore. It was then that he passed away.
According to the Honolulu Star Advertiser, Baldwin Beach Park and Baby Beach, which are adjacent to the location of Carter’s purported shark encounter, were closed on Saturday after the event.

Lifeguards jet skied Jason Carter to shore, and at approximately 11:19 a.m. local time, police responded to a distress report.
