The New York Police Department recently apprehended a viral internet street racer named Squeeze Benz after his and N3on’s crash video went viral
Aside from Benz, Twitch streamer N3on also ended up receiving a one-day ban from the platform.

Interestingly, Squeeze.Benz is supposedly just one member of a group of street racers-turned-police evaders, who call themselves the “Swim Team”.

Squeeze Benz is a popular YouTube and Instagram star, and his real name is Antonio Ginestri. Benz is currently just 19-years-old and has made a name for himself on social media for driving dangerously and narrowly avoiding oncoming traffic. The young teenager first gained prominence for his short clips on social media and longer videos on YouTube.

Benz has over 300,000 subscribers on YouTube and over 726K followers on Instagram. He posts all kinds of crazy stunts involving weaving in and out of traffic lanes. His most popular video, which features him drifting through Times Square in New York City, has garnered over 4.4 million views.

Reason behind the arrest
The NYPD arrested Squeeze Benz on May 21, 2024, following a hit-and-run that took place earlier this year, in April. Notably, Ginestri posted a video alongside popular Kick streamer N3on where the pair went on a wild ride throughout New York and ended with a hit-and-run.
Squeeze Benz allegedly made an illegal turn in the video before proceeding to escape the police at high speeds. Upon further investigation, police officials found out that Benz committed various traffic violations throughout the tri-state area, all just to antagonize the police. As a result, Newark detectives coordinated with the NYPD Auto Crimes Manhattan Unit, located Ginestri, and charged him.
Following the arrest, Chief Miranda stated:
We trust that this arrest sends a strong message that Newark is not a playground for daredevil drivers seeking social media likes.”
Squeeze Benz released from prison
Following the arrest, however, Squeeze Benz appears to have been released after he recently shared a post on Instagram. In the post, Squeeze revealed that he currently cannot go live due to community guideline violations and he has since opted to create a new Twitch account. As such, Ginestri could still yet face numerous other pending charges from law enforcement agencies throughout the whole country.
