On Thursday, April 27, 2023, Stephanie Melgoza, an Illinois woman, was given a 14-year jail term for her part in a drunk driving accident that claimed two lives.
According to reports, Melgoza was heavily drunk when she was involved in the collision on April 10, 2022, while driving three times over the speed limit at night. Unfortunately, her accident claimed the lives of two individuals, Paul Prowant, who was 55 years old, and Andrea Rosewicz, who was 43 years old. While they were struck by Stephanie, they were just attempting to cross a roadway.

She had a little quantity of marijuana, a smoking pipe, and an open bottle of vodka in her car when police arrived on the scene. Thereafter, Melgoza was detained and accused of two charges of severe DUI and two counts of dangerous driving.
