Krishnan was a general partner at Andreessen Horowitz and a private investor in more than two dozen businesses, such as Scale.ai, Figma, and SpaceX. He has held executive positions at Microsoft, Twitter/X, and Meta.

Sriram Krishnan started working at Microsoft in 2007 as a Visual Studio program manager. Krishnan developed the Facebook Audience Network at Facebook, a platform that competes with Google’s ad technologies.
Krishnan’s profile includes an innings at Facebook in 2013, where he scaled up the company’s mobile app download ads business and also worked at Snap, Twitter (now X) until 2019 where he collaborated with Elon Musk.
In February 2021, Krishnan joined the American venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz as a general partner.
He was chosen to head the company’s London office in 2023, which was its first non-US site. Several news outlets stated in 2022 that Krishnan was helping Elon Musk redesign Twitter after Musk had acquired the business.
