The arrest warrant is related to claims that on June 3, Pearson, then 18 years old, shockingly stabbed his ex-girlfriend Madison Schemitz, a Florida high school softball player, fifteen times.

Unfortunately, Schemitz’s spinal cord was injured during the attack, leaving her disabled. The upsetting occurrence happened in front of a restaurant and sports bar in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Jaclyn “Jacki” Rogue, 43, the mother of Schemitz, was also stabbed in the forehead and leg while bravely attempting to protect her daughter during the attack in broad daylight. A brave bystander moved up to help, but Pearson also hurt him in the process.
Then, in a last-ditch effort to take his own life, Spencer Ross Pearson attempted to stab himself but was unsuccessful. After that, he was taken to the hospital with self-inflicted wounds. On June 6, 2023, Pearson received the arrest warrant in his hospital bed. He faces two counts of attempted premeditated first-degree murder as well as aggravated violence with a dangerous weapon from the authorities.

18 year Spencer Ross Pearson is an American high school football player. He has been in the news because he tried to take his own life after stabbing his girlfriend 15 times.
He is a native of Florida and is currently 18 years old. According to records, he was born on 20 August 2004. He had a relationship with Madison Schemitz up until their breakup earlier this year, according to the arrest document. Following their split in April 2023, Pearson allegedly started stalking and harassing Schemitz.
According to the court record, Spencer Ross Pearson and her mother met up with friends at Mr. Chubby’s Wings in Ponte Vedra Beach on the day of the attack. After allegedly spotting Spencer Ross Pearson seated at a neighboring table, the two reportedly departed the eatery.
Following them out, Pearson assaulted Madison from behind, holding her down while he stabbed her 15 times in the parking lot. As Madison’s mother and a witness attempted to step in, Pearson stabbed them both. He then tried to slit his own neck in an effort to commit suicide.
