His father Tertius Bosch, who played three international matches for South Africa, was ranked alongside Allan Donald as one of the fastest bowlers of his era and younger brother Eathan is currently contracted to Dolphins and Pretoria Capitals. Both Corbin (30) and Eathan (26) are signed to the same team, thanks to Pretoria Capitals recruiting the older of the two for season 2.
Corbin Bosch was just five when his father, Tertius Bosch, passed away in 2000 and Tertius played one Test and two ODIs for South Africa in 1992 and opened the bowling in their first Test since readmittance, in Barbados. His test career ended at 26 and his life, cruelly cut short at 33 after it was claimed he succumbed to Guillain-Barre Syndrome, a rare viral infection, but 18 months later, his body was exhumed and a post mortem suggested that he may have been poisoned.
His mother, Karen-Anne Bosch, the widow of Protea cricketer Tertius Bosch had admitting to cheating on her husband and having multiple affairs.

Corbin Bosch, born on 10 September 1994, is a talented South African cricketer who showcased his skills during the 2014 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. His debut carries emotional significance, as his late father, Tertius Bosch, also represented South Africa in 1992 before tragically passing away at the age of 33 due to a rare illness. Corbin’s entry into international cricket not only adds him to the exclusive list of father-son duos to play for their country.
Who is Corbin Bosch?
Corbin Bosch made his first-class debut for the Titans during the 2017–18 Sunfoil Series on 28 September 2017 and his List A debut for Northerns in the 2017–18 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge on 7 January 2018. In June 2018, he was named in the Titans’ squad for the 2018–19 season. The following year, in July 2019, he was selected to play for the Dublin Chiefs in the inaugural Euro T20 Slam cricket tournament, but the tournament was unfortunately canceled a month later.
In September 2019, Bosch was included in the Tshwane Spartans’ squad for the 2019 Mzansi Super League. Continuing his rise in domestic cricket, he was named in Northerns’ squad ahead of the 2021–22 cricket season in South Africa. In May 2022, Bosch joined the Rajasthan Royals as a replacement for Nathan Coulter-Nile during the IPL 2022 season for Rs.20 lakhs. Additionally, he showcased his talent on the global stage, representing the Barbados Royals in the 2022 Caribbean Premier League and joining the Paarl Royals for the inaugural SA20 league in the same year.
While he had listed himself in the IPL 2025 auction for Rs.30 lakhs, he went unsold. He can persistently bowl in the 135-145 kmph range. Although he’s quite tall, the height of the 30 year old bowler isn’t known.
Corbin attended the Pretoria Boys’ High, studied at University of Pretoria (as his father did) and has spent all but three years of his professional career based at Centurion.
