Here is all you need to know about Teddy Knox as the SMU CB surrenders himself to police following Dallas hit and run case 

Teddy Knox, an SMU football player, handed himself in to police after getting an arrest warrant for his involvement in a multi-car crash last month with Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice.

The two were involved in a Dallas highway hit and run car crash where two speeding cars, a Lamborghini and a black Corvette collapsed involving other two vehicles forming a chain. After wanted by the police, Rice, who was driving the Lamborghini had earlier accepted his responsibilities and apologised for the people involved in the accident.

Four people were injured with minor injuries, two were given medical emergency on venue while the other two were taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, Rice, the Kansas City Chiefs player was reported to flee for the location despite knowing if the injured needed any medical emergency.

And now, another name has come up in the multi-car crash case and the driver’s name has been revealed who was driving the Black Corvette. Knox surrendered himself to the Glenn Heights Police Department on Friday after which he was  brought to the DeSoto jail.

Knox’s suspension from the football team was announced by SMU, but no additional details regarding possible disciplinary action from the university were provided.

The police claim that this was a hit-and-run accident, yet Knox and Rice are not charged with failing to stop and offer assistance however, the further judgement is awaited.

Who is Teddy Knox?

Teddy Knox is a cornerback for South Methodist University (SMU) who has been currently suspended by the side following his involvement in the Dallas highway hit and run car crash.

The 21-year-old was ranked among the top 50 players in Texas and among ESPN’s Top 300 players before he ever started college, according to all relevant ranking sources. In the 100 and 200 metres, the versatile cornerback took home silver in the 2019 Louisiana 1A-2A state meet.

After accepting a scholarship offer, Knox enrolled at Mississippi State prior to the 2021 collegiate football season. Prior to the 2022–2023 season, Knox relocated to SMU. He is known for his close friendship with Chiefs player Rashee Rice.
