Kate Tracey career and latest news
The much-loved presenter Kate Tracey, known for her appearances on Sky Racing’s Weekend Winners and William Hill’s coverage of the Racing League found herself at the center of a shoe-related frenzy on social media.
Despite her notable presence on television and social media, Kate Tracey’s journey into the world of horse racing was anything but intentional. Reflecting on her humble beginnings, she reminisced about her first race meeting at Worcester in August 1999. The dreary weather and lackluster racing failed to deter her enthusiasm, especially when a horse named Red Radish caused chaos and sparked an unexpected delay.
It was this moment, amidst the chaos and excitement, that ignited Tracey’s lifelong passion for horse racing. Hosting shows, sharing insights, and engaging with fans on social media have become integral parts of her career. However, her recent Instagram photo dump stirred up quite a frenzy among her followers. While the majority praised her work and appearance, some couldn’t help but express their disdain for her choice of footwear.
In one of the photos shared by Kate Tracey on Instagram, she was spotted wearing what appeared to be slippers—a far cry from the glamorous image typically associated with television presenters. This deviation from the norm prompted mixed reactions from her admirers. While some playfully criticized her choice, labeling the slippers as “posh,” others were more direct in their disapproval, stating that such footwear had no place on television.
Despite the unexpected scrutiny over her shoes, Kate Tracey remains undeterred in her passion for her work. From her early days at Worcester to her current role as a prominent figure in sports broadcasting, Tracey’s dedication to horse racing has never wavered. Even setbacks, such as her recent encounter with car theft while working in London, have failed to dampen her spirits.
