Everyone has been reacting to the video since it was released. Some hailed it a major expose, while others questioned Siru Murugesan’s identity. As a result, this subject has been trending on social media and has been covered by several newspapers.

Because of what Siru Murugesan has done, a lot of people are trying to figure out who he is right now. So, let’s see who he is and what he does:

Who Is Siru Murugesan?

Siru Murugesan is a Twitter senior engineer. He was an engineer who performed an excellent job, and his coworkers were sometimes puzzled how he was able to do the job so casually with him revealing he went to the office for just 4 hours daily for months.

His distinguishing feature was his ability to perform many tasks at once, which the organisation required.

What Did He Do?

A top engineer at Twitter, Siru Murugesan, was captured on camera saying that Twitter does not believe in freedom of speech and has a solid left-wing bias. The findings were revealed in a videotape produced by Project Veritas, an American far-right activist group.

The video contains many snippets of Murugesan covertly filmed during various encounters with a female Project Veritas journalist over a span of years.

Murugesan revealed that his Twitter coworkers were unhappy with Elon Musk’s takeover, claiming that the company’s culture is “commie as f**k.”

When asked how his coworkers felt about Elon Musk’s $44 billion buyouts, the senior engineer said,

They hate it. Oh my God. I’m at least like okay with it. But some of my colleagues are like super left, left, left, left, left. They’re like, ‘this would be my last day if this happens’.

Murugesan said that he, too, grew more left-wing after joining Twitter, but that office politics tend to affect people’s perspectives. He said,

I started working at Twitter and became left. I think it’s just like the environment, like you’re there and you become like this commie.

He went on to say that the social media behemoth actively suppressed right-wingers. He said,

Ideologically, it does not make sense like, because we’re actually censoring the right, and not the left. So, everyone on the right wing will be like, ‘bro, it’s okay to stay, just gotta tolerate it.’ ‘The left will be like, no, I’m not gonna tolerate it. I need it censored or else I’m not gonna be on the platform. So, it does that on the right. It’s true. There is bias. It is what it is today.
