Thanedar, who is 67 years old, is a representative in the Michigan House for the third district. He got more than 27,366 votes, but only 84,096 went to Bivings. He beat a large group of Democrats. Including state Rep. Adam Hollier, Portia Roberson, John Conyers III, and Sherry Gay-Dagnogo. Who were all running for the open seat.

On February 22, 1955, Shri Thanedar was born. He turned 67 this year. The Democrat is a business owner, author, multimillionaire, and politician who was born in India. Thanedar ran for Governor of Michigan as a candidate for the Democratic Party in 2018.

Shri Thanedar grew in Belgaum. His father had to retire at 55, and the business owner-turned-politician worked odd jobs when he was 14 to help support his family. He got his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and then went to the University of Bombay to get his master’s degree. He moved to the United States so he could get his PhD at the University of Akron. In 1988, Thanedar became a US citizen.
Losing His Father At A Young Age
Thanedar’s father died when he was young, so he worked as a janitor to pay for school and his family. Later, he became a scientist at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in Mumbai. He came to the US hoping to be a successful businessman. Now that he is here, he wants to help the people he lives with.
Shri Thanedar’s first wife killed herself in America in 1996 with them having two children. He is now married to Shashi and is a Hindu by religion. His net worth is not known.

Since the Covid-19 outbreak, Thanedar hasn’t been to India. He has also written a best-selling book in the Marathi language.
