In the 10m air pistol competition, 20-year-old Indian pistol shooter Rhythm Sangwan has qualified for the Olympics in Paris as per her biography
Manu Bhaker qualified for the finals of the current Olympic Games in Paris thanks to her outstanding performance in the 10m air pistol qualification round. In the meantime, Rhythm Sangwan did not do well and lost in the qualifying round.

Rhythm Sangwan was born on 29 November 2003 and hails from the Kalina village in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. She is 5ft 5in tall.
Sangwan was inspired to take up the sport by her mother Neelam and father Narender Kumar, a police officer. Her father is a Deputy Superintendent of Police in the Haryana Police.
Rhythm began her practice at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi when she was twelve years old. She received her initial training from Vinit Kumar, and her mother used to go with her. She attended the Faridabad-based Delhi Public School.
Rhythm Sangwan career and achievements
Rhythm Sangwan qualified for the Paris Olympics by competing in the Asian Qualifiers in Jakarta in January 2024 and taking home a bronze in the 25-meter sports pistol. For the Indian shooters, it is the sixteenth quota spot.
She competed in the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy’s Bhopal World Cup in 2023. She shattered the 29-year record held by 1996 Olympic silver medallist Diana Iorgova in May of 2023. At the ISSF World Cup in Baku, Rhythm scored 595 in the women’s 25-meter pistol qualification round. Diana had shot 594 during the May 1994 World Cup in Milan. She also won India’s bronze in the 10m Air Pistol.
At the 61st National Shooting Championship in Thiruvananthapuram, Rhythm won three gold medals in her very first national competition.
After hitting 286/300 at the midway point, Rhythm Sangwan was not playing at his best. She placed 15th in the field at the end of the competition, finishing 573-14x. A regrettable second series for Sangwan. Sangwan had a difficult second series, scoring 92 in those ten strokes, following his first series performance of 97/100. She recovered with another 97 and 96, but she was not able to consistently find the 10s.
