Shivam Mishra tops ICAI CA Final May Exam
Delhi native Shivam Mishra has topped the ICAI CA Final May Exam 2024 by scoring 83.33 per cent (500 marks). Shivam Mishra reportedly devoted about 10-12 hours every day to his CA final preparation during the last few months. He reportedly practiced questions through mock tests and past papers and enrolled in an online coaching program while doing his training from BSR-KPMG BIG4. He added:
“I had the freedom to watch recorded lessons after my office would get over, which helped me a lot.”
Shivam reportedly completed the whole exam syllabus, and spent the last five-and-half-months revising and taking mock tests. The topper added:
“During this period, I made sure I revised the topics four times.”
Shivam reportedly relied only on the notes provided by the coaching institute and the ICAI study materials. During his free time, he played online games and watched web series and also played badminton.

He cleared his CA final exams in both groups – I and II and was also placed in AIR 50 in the CA foundation exam held in 2019 and AIR 20 in the intermediate level exam in 2020. He took online coaching from the VSmart Academy.
Shivam Mishra bio
Shivam Mishra is a native of Delhi and the son of a priest who recently topped the ICAI CA Final May Exam. He was born to a father who is a priest and a mother, is was a housewife. Notably, Mishra is the only person in his family who has obtained a professional background. Following the news about his results, he stated:
“No one in my family has any professional background. My family has been performing pujas and conducting kathas for a long. I am the first generation who is stepping out from this.”

Shivam Mishra is currently just 22 years old.
Education
Shivam Mishra completed his Class 12 from Kendriya Vidyalaya in 2019 and later graduated from the University of Delhi in 2022 with BCom (Hons).
ICAI CA May Exam
Notably, the ICAI conducted the May intermediate exams (group 1) on May 3, 5 and 9. Meanwhile, the group 2 inter exams took place on May 11, 15, and 17. The ICAI then conducted the CA final exams for group 1 on May 2, 4 and 8, following which the Group 2 exams took place on May 10, 14, and 16.
