The Delhi Police have identified the reportedly intoxicated man who urinated on a fellow passenger on an Air India flight and businessman Shekhar Mishra, who resides in Mumbai, has purportedly been identified as the culprit as his video and photo go viral
Shekhar Mishra is accused of peeing on a fellow passenger.
The incident that happened on the Delhi-New York in-flight has not yet been reported to the police.
Accused has switched off his gadgets, officials are tracking him from his last known location.

The Delhi Police has accused Mishra of violating the IPC’s sections 294 (obscene act in a public place), 354 (assault or criminal force against a woman to offend her modesty), 509 (statement, gesture, or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman), and 510. (misconduct in public by a drunken person).
The events of November 26
On November 26, during a journey from New York to Delhi on Air India, Mishra, who was reportedly intoxicated, is accused of urinating on a fellow passenger in her 70s.
After dinner, the lights had been lowered. The woman informed the team that her clothing, shoes, and luggage were all covered in pee and that she had a problem. She claims that the crew offered her a change of clothes and some slippers and told her to go back to her seat, but they did not notify the authorities until the plane had landed in Delhi.
30-day suspension from flying
Only when the woman wrote to Tata Group Chairman N Chandrasekaran did the matter come to light. Thereafter, on December 28, more than a month after the occurrence, Air India reported the accused to the authorities. Mishra has been barred from flying for 30 days, according to a previous statement from Air India.
An Air India representative said, “As a preliminary move, Air India has banned the passenger for 30 days, the maximum it is entitled to do unilaterally, and submitted the case to the DGCA for future action.”
There will also be an Investigation into the crew’s behaviour
Air India further stated that it had formed an internal committee to look into any errors made by the flight crew. “We have also formed an internal committee to investigate any errors made by the Air India crew and address any shortcomings that delayed a speedy resolution of the issue.”
Air India has been asked to submit a report on the event to the aviation authority, DGCA.
