Sheriff’s Deputy Shannon Lofland aka Lady Lorreign resigned after her adult scenes movies were discovered
Following an internal inquiry and the department’s discovery of the p*rnographic videos online, the Arapahoe County sheriff’s deputy Shannon Lofland in Colorado resigned.
An employee of the Sheriff’s office for 21 years, Shannon Lofland claimed that she had been appearing in p*rnographic videos “out of desperation” due to financial strain.
Although the government did not disclose how they learned about the recordings, Lofland acknowledged that she had probably broken organizational rules that mandated workers get permission before taking on a second job.

“It was a violation of policy to not request permission to work secondary employment,” she said. “I know that, and I knew that … it could be considered a double life.
Shannon Lofland disclosed in the CBS News interview that a severe storm in 2023 wrecked her home, causing damages of half a million dollars. She had to borrow money to pay for the repairs because her insurance company would not cover the damage. After she accrued debt, she began to be pursued by collectors.

She tried borrowing money from her family and reducing her spending, but it didn’t work. Without any other options, she resorted to p*rnography. She also revealed that she’s a mother and that her husband is supportive of her activities although his name isn’t known yet.
“My actions have been made out of desperation. … Some may judge and say there are ‘better’ ways to make money, but at the time I had no other lucrative means for doing so,” Lofland said.

For many years, 44-year-old Shannon Lofland has been employed as a driving instructor at the sheriff’s office. Under the stage name Lady Lorreign, she is active in the p*rn industry. She told CBS Colorado that she enjoyed her job and was saddened by her resignation on Tuesday because of the department’s internal inquiry.
However, she acknowledged that she probably broke the rules by not obtaining prior permission for outside work, which she feels would not have been permitted. In an interview with CBS Colorado, she disclosed that she had been working on six different s*x scenes for multiple production firms and had been participating in scenes for the past month.
