Sean Stellato bio
Sean Stellato is an American sports agent who was born on April 12, 1978, in Salem, Massachusetts, U.S.A. He is currently 45 years old, and he also works as a motivational speaker and is a published author besides his sports agent career. The Italian-American sports agent has made waves in the sports industry ever since his time as a high school and college athlete.
Stellato is the founder of Stellato Sports, a mulit-faceted sports representation and marketing agency. He is an NFLPA certified agent who represents numerous NFL players and in addition to representing players at the negotiating table, Sean runs skills camps, training and conditioning coaching, as well as player events and promos.
He has negotiated endorsement deals with NBC Sports, Rolex, Smoothie King, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Mercedes-‐Benz, BMW, and Harley Davidson Truck.
Stellato serves as the President of his own company, SES Sports, and has represented a number of well accomplished NFL players including former Patriots tackle Joe Vellano and punter Ryan Allen, former Washington Commanders/Dallas Cowboys running back Alfred Morris, and former San Francisco 49ers back Shaun Draughn, to name a few but his net worth isn’t known.
Education
During his childhood, Sean Stellato attended Salem High School, where he played both on the football and basketball teams. He made waves at Salem in the early 1990s, setting numerous records as the starting quarterback for the Witches. Stellato also served as the team captain of the basketball team, leading them to an undefeated (25-0) win and clinching the State Basketball Championship in 1995. He later joined Gunnery Prep School, where he was named M.V.P. in both football and basketball. Sean was also named All-New England in both sports.
The Italian-American then attended Marist College, where he played both basketball and football again. Sean did not achieve anything special in basketball, averaging 0.4 points per game in 21 appearances. However, in football, he played as a wide receiver for the Red Foxes and enjoyed success during the 2000 and 2001 seasons. He ended up recording the most receiving touchdowns at the wide receiver position.
Professional career
Despite his success in college football, he did not find much success professionally. Stellato played two seasons in the now-defunct Arena Football League (AF2) for the Florida Firecats, the Louisville Fire, and the Memphis Xplorers. He also briefly held some coaching positions in football.
He coached defensive backs at the Ipswich High School Tigers around the 2003 season, besides serving as a quarterbacks coach at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School in 2004. Sean even worked as a member of the St. John’s Prep football coaching staff back in 2006. Working around all these roles helped him establish his own sports agency company, SES Sports, where he works as a certified sports agent.
According to DeVito:
Sean is always in my corner and will do whatever it takes to help me with my career on and off the field. He is the Italian Stallion of sports agents.”
Interestingly, Sean Stellato is also a published author, having written two books, titled ‘4th and Long The Odds: My Journey’ and ‘No Backing Down’. ‘No Backing Down’ chronicles Sean’s journeys in life and sports. Sean also wrote the kids’ books “Football Magic: Buddy’s New Beginning” and “Football Magic: A Pirate’s Tale.”
