Why Black Caps’ controversial selection of Scott Kuggeleijn makes no sense from Cricket

Despite the charges of rape, Stead has defended the decision to include Kuggeleijn in the squad. The coach has stated that Kuggeleijn was cleared of the charges in 2017 and has shown exceptional skill and dedication as a cricketer since then.

Kuggeleijn will join the New Zealand team for the Test series, which will be played over two matches. The first Test will be played without Matt Henry, who will miss the match due to the delayed birth of his first child.
