After parting ways with Aidy Boothroyd on Thursday, Jamshedpur FC named Irish-English manager Scott Cooper their new head coach on Friday (14 July) ahead of the 2023–24 ISL season on a two–year contract.

Cooper began his career as a coach more than 20 years ago at Chester City in the National League North. He had also managed Leicester City, a previous Premier League team,’s U15 team.
