In a recent statement, renowned saxophonist Maria Elena Rios accused Mexican actor Tenoch Huerta of assault and called him a “s*xual predator” in a series of tweets. She also discussed her issues with Poder Prieto, complaining that the publication had used her work without her consent and had not paid her for it.

Rios said that she was not compensated for her involvement in an “El Feisbuk de la Malinche” podcast episode that was broadcast. She went on to say that she has contributed to previous Poder Prieto initiatives without receiving the proper compensation.
Asserting that Poder Prieto was protecting Huerta, whom she calls a sexual predator, Maria Elena Rios emphasized the fact that the business has subsequently removed the problematic podcast.
However, in a tweet in response to her claims, Poder Prieto said they couldn’t pay for anything that wasn’t their creation and that they had merely recommended the material. To this, Maria Elena Rios responded angrily, stressing that she had made it plain to Poder Prieto that she wanted nothing to do with them, especially since they were reportedly defending Tenoch Huerta.
She slammed the corporation for defying her requests and contacting her at a concert filled with hypocrites in an attempt to avoid any controversy over their partnership with Huerta on a Marvel Latin America project.

Maria Elena Rios is a renowned saxophonist and a victim of an acid attack. She has been in the news because she accused actor Tenoch Huerta of s*xual assault.
In 1992 or 1993, she was born in Santo Domingo, Tonala, Oaxaca. Subsequently, she relocated to Puebla to attend the music conservatory. She is of Mixtec ancestry.
Her career
After her studies in music, Maria Elena Rios joins the four-woman Vértice Group as well as the Sandevi ensemble. She also performed in the Saxophone Nights production at a well-known restaurant. In 2022, she performed on stage once more, this time playing saxophone with the Mexican rock band Maldita Vecindad at the Vive Latino.
