Sarbjot Johal, a twenty-year-old, is seemingly in line to take over as owner of the English club Morecambe. The club was reportedly put up for sale by Morecambe chairman Graham Howse back in September, with Johal emerging as one of the contenders.
The heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, who has financial stakes in the club, reportedly received an offer to purchase it.

Johal is already in the process of taking over as the club’s new owner, according to Howse, therefore the Gypsy King is certain to miss out.
Howse disclosed through the BBC:
Sarbjot, through his company Sarb Capital, has recently purchased equity in the club, injecting more than useful income into us.”
He further told:
“I am, along with Sarbjot, keen that the process should now move on at pace to come to a positive conclusion.”
Who is Sarbjot Johal?
According to The Guardian, Johal is named as the chairman of the private equity company Sarb Capital.
The youngster is also listed as a director of Vitanic Limited, a business that was established as Vitanic Group in May 2019.
Johal will become the EFL’s youngest club owner if the Morecambe accession plan is approved. The takeover is about to happen when The Shrimps are having a difficult League One season.
Johal is listed as the chairman of a private equity firm named Serb Capital from January 2022 and in Companies House, Johal is recorded as director of Vitanic Limited, a company incorporated as Vitanic Group in May 2019.
Birmingham-based Johal is the founder of non-alcoholic drinks brand Vitanic and also chairman of private equity firm Sarb Capital and was was born in Gravesend, Kent, to an immigrant Sikh family in 2002. He began work as a construction worker, aged 13, alongside his father.
He established his first company in construction, aged 15 and two years later he developed Vitanic Grape Cocktail 0.0% Alc. His current net worth is not known though.
Morecambe was taken over by London-based Bond Group Investments in 2018 and financial uncertainty at the club increased when co-owners Colin Golding and Jason Whittingham of rugby union side Worcester Warriors entered administration in September. The club is currently valued at 20 million pounds.
