The couple tied the knot at a waterside ceremony in Magic Island, Hawaii with Jess initially proposing to Sarah back in 2018.

The cricket player has always been open about her s*xuality and has been happy to say that she is a lesbian. Jess Jonassen is only the fourth Australian woman to take 100 wickets in one-day internationals (ODIs). She has done this by taking 135 wickets in 88 games. In 100 T20s, she has also taken 91 catches. She can also hit well in the middle of the lineup.

Jess Jonassen is the captain of both the Queensland Fire and the Brisbane Heat teams in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL). Jonassen has a law degree from Griffith University and a graduate certificate in criminal mental health. He also plays cricket.
She recently took nine wickets for Delhi Capitals in as many games in the WPL 2023. She will next play in a one-off Test match against England Women on June 22 at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Then, in July, the two teams will play three T20Is and the same number of ODIs.
