Sanna Marin’s family and education
Sanna Marin comes from a modest background. She grew up with her mother and her mother’s girlfriend after her parents got separated. Her father’s name is Lauri Marin. Sanna Marin has one daughter. She got married to her partner Markus Raikkonen in August 2020.
In January 2018, Marin and her partner Markus Räikkönen had a daughter and in August 2020, Marin and Räikkönen, who works in communications, married at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Kesäranta.
Sanna has done MA from the University of Tampere. She attended Pirkkala High School. She is 5ft 6in tall and Marin’s weight is 60 kg.
Sanna Marin career
Sanna was elected to parliament in early 2015 when she was just 29 years old. In the same year, Marin was a member of former Prime Minister Antti Rinne’s government. Later on after his resignation, Marin became a party leader and prime minister in 2019.
But the perception of Sanna Marin as a fun person attracted criticism last year. Sanna was forced to apologize after she was spotted at a club in December of 2021 after a member of her entourage has covid-19.

The opposition leader Riikka Purra said, there was a shadow of the doubt whether Sanna inhaled drugs at a party. A member of her coalition, though not from her party, said it would be wise to take a drugs test.
Sanna Marin said, ‘she has“no problem” with having a drug test and have submitted herself for one on Friday afternoon with the results expected next week.
“I have a family life, I have a work life and I have some free time for spending with my friends,” Marin said.
