On Sunday, ICICI Lombard, one of India’s top non-life insurers, announced that Sanjeev Mantri would become its Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The Board of Directors of ICICI Lombard has accepted Sanjeev Mantri’s appointment. He will begin working in the position on December 1 or as soon as the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) gives its approval, whichever comes first. He has been appointed to a five-year term.
Bhargav Dasgupta, who is leaving the organisation to pursue his new position as the Vice President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), will be replaced by him in the position.
Who Is Sanjeev Mantri?
With more than 20 years of experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) industry, Sanjeev Mantri is a seasoned banking professional. He began working for the ICICI Group in 2003, and he is currently the division’s executive director for retail business.
