Sania Mirza is India’s first Muslim woman to become a fighter pilot and she has cleared the NDA exam, know her age, parents and family

Sania Mirza, who is a daughter of a Television mechanic from Mirzapur is going to become the country’s first Muslim girl fighter pilot who is enrolled in the Indian Air Force. Sania Mirza secured 149th rank in the exam of NDA.

Sania Mirza Education And Family

Sania hails from Jasovar, a small village based in the Dehat Kotwali police station area. Sania Mirza completed her primary education at the Pandit Chintamani Dubey Inter College and did her further studies at the Inter College of her village. Sania Mirza has passed her 12th exam from Guru Nanak Girls Inter College in Mirzapur and she was a district topper in the UP class 12th board. On the 10th of April, Sania Mirza appeared for the NDA exam 2022.

While her DOB isn’t known, she is aged between 18-22 years.

“There were only 2 seats reserved for women in the fighter pilot wing. I was failing to grab a seat on the first attempt. Moreover, I managed to bag a seat in the 2nd attempt,” Sania Mirza said.

Mirza gives the credit for success to her parents as well as to Centurion Defense Academy. Mirza stated that only 2 seats were reserved for women in the fighter pilot in National Defense Academy 2022 exam. “I could not grab a seat in my first attempt but I found a place in my 2nd attempt and that was really a big achievement for me.”

Sania’s mother, who is Tabassum Mirza stated, “Our daughter has made us and the entire village is proud of her. Sania is fulfilling the dream of becoming the first fighter pilot and she inspired every girl in the village to follow their dreams.”

Sania Mirza Professional Career

According to Sania Mirza, ‘Hindi medium students too can achieve success if they are determined.’ On 27th December, she will join NDA Khadakwasla based in Pune. The parents as well as the villagers are really feeling proud of her achievement.

In National Defense Academy 2022 examination, there were 400 seats in total including males and females all around. There were a total of 19 seats for women, and 2 seats were reserved for the fighter pilots. In these 2 seats, Sania managed to get a place on the strength of her talent.
