Facebook’s parent organization Meta on Thursday has appointed Sandhya Devanathan as the head of Meta India, know her age and profile
The appointment of Sandhya Devanathan as Indiaโs Meta head comes a week after Ajit Mohan, the country head of Meta India resigned to join Snapchat. Abhijit Bose, the head of WhatsApp India, and Rajiv Aggarwal who is the director of public policy at Meta India have also left the organization.

Manish Chopra who is the Director and Head of Partnerships for Facebook India is in charge of the business. Devanathan will target bringing the orga nizationโs business and revenue priorities together for serving its partners and clients.
Sandhya Devanathan Professional Career
Sandhya Devanathan is presently the head of Metaโs gaming business for Asia-Pacific. Sandhya takes the top position at Meta India after spending nearly 3 years in the company. This is one of the 2nd stints at the Meta. Before joining Meta in April 2020, Sandhya was a board member at the Pepper Financial Services Group and Singaporeโs National Library Board.
Sandhya joined Meta in 2016 and helped out to build Singapore and Vietnam businesses and teams as well as the tech giantโs e-commerce initiatives in Southeast Asia. While her date of birth isn’t known, she is aged roughly 46 years.

Devanathan has had a career span and experience of more than 22 years across banking, payments, and technology. Sandhya has spent nearly 10 years at Citi in different roles. After this, Devanathan joined Standard Chartered bank where she spent another 6 years. Her last job at Standard Chartered was as managing director for retail banking and payment products in Singapore. Her current salary at Meta is not known.
